Puritan's Pudding 2 cups canned pumpkin
3/4 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ginger
3 eggs (slightly beaten)
1 cup heavey cream
3/4 cup of milk
Blend all ingredients thoroughly and pour into buttered 1 1/2 quart, casserole dish. bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour or until a knife inserted half way between center and edge comes out clean. Cool and garnish with whipped cream. |
