Coffee Sauce 1 cup evaporated milk (diluted with 1/2 cup water)
1/2 cup ground coffee
1/3 cup sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons cornstarch
Few grains of salt
Scald milk with coffee and let stand for 20 min,s. Strain through fine cheessecloth. Mix remaining ingredients and add coffee-milk gradually. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Serve hot on puddings. |
